LT Andrew Hickey is a commissioned officer in the U.S. Public Health Service on detail at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), in the National Biosurveillance Integration Center (NBIC). LT Hickey holds a B.S. degree in Environmental Health and Political Science from Colorado State University, MPH degree in epidemiology from Emory University, and Ph.D. in Emerging Infectious Diseases from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. LT Hickey completed his post-doctorate training at Boston University’s NEIDL and Department of Microbiology.
